U.S. National Parks: Everyone Loves Them

National parks are protected areas that preserve the natural environment of the land and its wildlife. They are also a place for people to visit and enjoy nature. There are 63 national parks. The first national park was Yellowstone National Park, which was established in 1872. Yellowstone National Park is a United States National Park located mostly in the state of Wyoming, with two small portions in Idaho and Montana. It was established by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872.

Zion National Park is one of our favorites, located in southwestern Utah near Springdale and the town of Mount Carmel. The park is best known for its red sandstone cliffs, called fins, which represent a key destination for outdoor enthusiasts. We have prints of Angels Landing for sale in our store. The image is beautiful!

The most popular national park in the United States is Yosemite National Park. This park is known for its waterfalls, sequoia trees, and vast wilderness. Yosemite National Park is also one of the oldest parks in the United States, having been established in 1890.

It’s nice to have a check list to keep track of all the National Parks my husband and I have been to. It will help us plan future trips also.

I love this little document and can’t wait to frame it with my park passport. I will be checking off each park and will ask a park ranger to autograph their specific park for me. This is my keepsake and will add it to a large walled frame with photos of my trips. This is such a nice poster size document and it’s made from heavy duty paper, came well protected too. Thanks for creating such a wonderful framing size NP listing!
